Project Terms

Last updated: October 2026

Every website project starts with a written quotation or agreement. This page explains what that document covers, so you know what to expect before you commit.

What your written agreement will specify

The exact terms of your project are set out in your written quotation or agreement. They are confirmed with you in writing before work begins.

  1. Project scope and deliverables. Exactly what we will build and deliver, written down so both sides know what to expect.
  2. Total price. The full project price, shown in your written quotation.
  3. Advance payment and milestones. How much is paid up front and when each later payment is due.
  4. Delivery timeline. The expected delivery schedule, which also depends on you providing content and feedback on time.
  5. Your responsibilities. The content you need to provide (text, images, logos, access) and the feedback and approvals we need from you.
  6. Revisions. The number of revision rounds included in the price.
  7. Additional work. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted and agreed before we start it.
  8. Cancellation and refunds. What happens to payments and completed work if a project is cancelled by either side.
  9. Ownership and transfer. Which deliverables are transferred to you, and when.
  10. Domain and hosting. Who registers and pays for the domain and hosting, and who holds the accounts.
  11. Support and maintenance. The support period and what it covers, and how ongoing maintenance is handled.

Work outside the agreed scope

If you ask for something that isn't in the agreed scope, we'll tell you first and agree the extra cost and timing with you in writing before we start.

If something in this page differs from your agreement

Your signed or written-confirmed agreement for the project always takes priority over this general summary.
